by Kerry Kauffman | Sat, Sep 19th 1:58pm EDT
The Reds made the most of nine hits in a 5-3 win over the Brewers on Friday. Skip Schumaker contributed nicely out of the number two hole, going 2-for-4 with a run scored. On the downside, he struck out twice and committed an error in the field. Schumaker is now batting .236 for the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Schumaker has a mediocre .305 on-base percentage and has just one home run in 216 at-bats, for an OPS of .634. While he had a solid game on Friday, don't expect much out of Schumaker the rest of the season.
