Nathaniel Lowe homers, but Rangers fall to Athletics

by Chris Schommer | Rangers Correspondent | Sat, Aug 31st 9:07am EDT

Nathaniel Lowe went 2-for-4 with a home run and an RBI in the Rangers' 9-2 loss to the Athletics.

Fantasy Impact:

This performance, featuring his 11th homer of the season, provided a slight boost to his .255 batting average and added to his RBI total, now standing at 49. Despite the solid hit day, Lowe's season has been marked by moderate power and an average that doesn't quite light up the fantasy scoreboard. His wOBA of .322 shows some effectiveness at the plate, but fantasy managers might still be left wanting more consistency from the first baseman. Moving forward, Lowe remains a middling option, primarily valuable in deeper leagues or as a fill-in based on matchup considerations.
