Vinnie Pasquantino has been officially diagnosed with a broken right thumb. He will miss at least 6-8 weeks. (Kansas City Royals on X)
Fantasy Impact:
The Royals will be doing additional tests on Friday, so the timetable for a return is not concrete. Either way, Pasquantino will likely be out for the rest of the regular season, if not most of the playoffs. Salvador Perez is the most likely candidate to start at first base moving forward.
