Bradley Blalock battered in rocky outing against Marlins

Bradley Blalock struggled mightily in Thursday's 12-8 loss to the Marlins, surrendering six earned runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out three over four innings.
Fantasy Impact:
This performance certainly didn't help his already middling season stats, pushing his ERA closer to 5.00 and his WHIP to an unsettling 1.62. The right-hander's inability to limit hits and runs this season, coupled with a low strikeout rate of 5.8 K/9, makes him a risky fantasy option. Given his high 4.55 FIP and a BABIP of .320, it's clear that Blalock hasn't been fooling many hitters, and fantasy managers should be wary of using him in their lineups.
