Ben Brown (neck) is unlikely to return from the injured list this season, per manager Craig Counsell. (Meghan Montemurro on Twitter )

Ben Brown remains at the Cubs’ complex in Arizona, but he’s still not doing anything pitching wise. Counsell said it’s not likely Brown will be back this season.

Fantasy Impact:

Brown has been out of action since early June with a stress reaction in his neck. He has not resumed a throwing program and the Cubs may have him turn his focus towards being healthy for the 2025 season.
