Steven Matz (back) will lower his pitch count to 65 in a rehab start with Triple-A Memphis Tuesday. (Lynn Worthy on Twitter )

Cardinals manager Oli Marmol stated that they are looking to reduce his workload to keep him flexible for a variety of roles once he returns. This is expected to be his final rehab outing before being activated from the 60-day IL.
