The Nationals have optioned Travis Blankenhorn to Triple-A Rochester. (Nationals on Twitter )

The Nationals made the following roster moves on Tuesday:

· Returned from rehab/reinstated 1B/OF Joey Gallo (10-day IL)
· Reinstated LHP Robert Garcia (Bereavement List)
· Optioned OF/DH Travis Blankenhorn to Triple-A
· Optioned RHP Orlando Ribalta to Triple-A

Fantasy Impact:

Blankenhorn has been optioned in a corresponding move for Joey Gallo’s activation from the IL. He will remain a depth option should the Nationals need depth in the outfield.
