Jeimer Candelario went 2-for-4 with a home run and an RBI in the Reds' 13-1 loss to the Royals.
Fantasy Impact:
Despite the team's struggles, Candelario managed to contribute positively by adding a solo homer to his season tally. His performance, however, is a small bright spot in what has been a challenging season, marked by a disappointing .226 batting average and a high strikeout rate. While the power numbers are decent, with 20 homers on the year, his overall production hasn't been enough to make him a must-start in fantasy lineups. Owners should consider him a situational player, best utilized when matchups are favorable.
