Bobby Miller struggles again in loss to Cardinals

by Chris Schommer | Dodgers Correspondent | Sun, Aug 18th 5:36am EDT

Bobby Miller endured another tough outing, allowing four earned runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out just one over 4 2/3 innings in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Cardinals.

Fantasy Impact:

This performance continues a troubling trend for Miller, whose season ERA has now ballooned to an alarming 8.02, accompanied by a WHIP of 1.84. His inability to suppress hits (.343 BABIP) and a low strikeout rate (7.5 K/9) are significant red flags for fantasy managers. Given these persistent struggles, including a concerning 6.76 FIP and a poor strikeout-to-walk ratio (1.47), it's becoming increasingly difficult to justify keeping Miller in fantasy rotations without seeing some substantial improvements.
