Rafael Devers doubles, but Red Sox fall short

by Chris Schommer | Red Sox Correspondent | Sun, Aug 11th 7:02am EDT

Rafael Devers went 1-for-4 with a double in the Red Sox's 5-4 loss to the Astros.

Fantasy Impact:

Despite the double, Devers couldn't spark enough offense to secure a win, adding two strikeouts to his day at the plate. His season batting average remains solid at .300, and with 25 homers and 71 RBI through 103 games, he continues to be a key contributor in fantasy lineups. However, his strikeout rate has crept up, which could be a concern if it continues to rise. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on his contact rates but remain confident in his ability to produce valuable numbers.
