Jeimer Candelario has quiet night in Reds' loss

by Chris Schommer | Reds Correspondent | Sat, Aug 10th 7:52am EDT

Jeimer Candelario went 2-for-4 with a double in the Reds' 8-3 loss to the Brewers.

Fantasy Impact:

Despite managing a couple of hits, including a double, Candelario's performance wasn't enough to spark a struggling Reds lineup. His season batting average sits at a dismal .231, and while his 18 home runs and 53 RBI provide some value, his overall production has been underwhelming. The lack of walks and high strikeout rate are concerning for fantasy managers. Moving forward, Candelario remains a fringe fantasy option, primarily useful in deeper leagues for his occasional power output.
