Giovanny Gallegos to be placed on waivers

Fantasy Impact:
Gallegos was designated for assignment and will now have a chance to be claimed off waivers. He has a 6.53 ERA and a 1.65 WHIP in 21 outings with the Cardinals this season. Due to his service time, he is eligible to elect free agency if he goes unclaimed.
