The Yankees have optioned Yoendrys Gomez to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. (Yankees on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Gomez will head back to the minor leagues after the Yankees added Mark Leiter from the Cubs. He will remain a depth option if the Yankees need a fresh arm in the future.
