Andre Pallante allowed three earned runs over five innings in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Rangers.
Fantasy Impact:
He surrendered seven hits and two walks while striking out five. This performance slightly worsens Pallante's already mediocre season statistics, nudging his ERA up to 4.04 and his WHIP to 1.36. Given his low strikeout rate of 7.1 K/9 and a FIP that suggests his ERA is somewhat deserved, Pallante remains a risky play in most fantasy formats. His role doesn't help much either, as he's not in line for saves or many holds, limiting his utility to deeper leagues that count innings pitched or where streaming options are scarce.
