Adam joins several other Tampa Bay Rays to be dealt at this trade deadline. Adam has been productive in 2024, sporting a 2.49 ERA and 9.6 K/9 in 47 innings. It's unclear if he will be in the mix for saves in San Diego, but he will provide valuable depth in their bullpen.
