Tanner Gordon allowed four earned runs on nine hits and zero walks while striking out five over six innings in Saturday's 5-0 loss to the Giants.
Fantasy Impact:
This outing did little to reassure fantasy managers, as Gordon's season ERA climbed to an unsettling 8.80, compounded by a WHIP of 1.76 across his starts. Despite a decent strikeout-to-walk ratio of 6.00, his high BABIP of .380 suggests he's been somewhat unlucky, but it's clear that he's struggling to find his form. Given these persistent issues, fantasy managers should consider other options, as Gordon's current performance makes him a risky play in all but the deepest of leagues.
