Trent Grisham's doubles help Yanks topple Sox, 11-8

by Chris Schommer | Yankees Correspondent | Sun, Jul 28th 7:33am EDT

Trent Grisham went 2-for-5 with two doubles and an RBI in the Yankees' 11-8 victory over the Red Sox.

Fantasy Impact:

Despite the multi-hit game, Grisham's season has been less than stellar, batting a meager .191 with a .295 wOBA over 58 games. His performance today, albeit helpful, doesn't mask the glaring issues in his batting consistency and power production. Fantasy managers should remain wary; while doubles are nice, Grisham's overall lack of runs, home runs, and a concerning strikeout rate of 25.5% make him a risky play in most formats. His low BABIP of .220 suggests some bad luck, but not enough to consider him a hidden gem just yet.
