Carson Fulmer falters, Angels fall to Athletics 5-4

Carson Fulmer had a mixed outing in Friday's 5-4 loss to the Athletics.
Fantasy Impact:
He allowed three earned runs on just two hits and three walks while striking out three over 5 2/3 innings. Despite showing some control issues with the walks, Fulmer managed to limit the damage to only a few hits, which is a silver lining in an otherwise mediocre performance. His season ERA slightly increased to 3.77, and his WHIP now stands at 1.20, reflecting some inconsistency in his pitching. With a K/9 of 8.6, Fulmer still offers fantasy value in strikeouts, but his elevated FIP of 4.60 and low win count might make him a risky play in fantasy lineups. His performance today, while not disastrous, doesn't do much to boost confidence in his reliability as a fantasy starter.
