Brenton Doyle's triple not enough in Rockies' loss
by Chris Schommer | Rockies Correspondent | Sat, Jul 27th 8:31am EDT
Brenton Doyle went 1-for-4 with a triple and two RBI in the Rockies' 11-4 defeat to the Giants.
Fantasy Impact:
Despite the team's struggles, Doyle managed to contribute with a key hit, driving in a pair of runs. This performance, however, is a small bright spot in what has been a solid season for Doyle, who maintains a .278 batting average with some power and speed elements. His ability to mix extra-base hits with a decent number of stolen bases makes him a valuable asset in most fantasy formats. However, his high strikeout rate continues to be a concern, potentially capping his batting average upside. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on his strikeout and walk rates for signs of improvement or regression.
