Francisco Lindor's efforts not enough in Mets' loss

by Chris Schommer | Mets Correspondent | Sat, Jul 20th 9:34am EDT

Francisco Lindor went 1-for-3 with a run scored and a stolen base in the Mets' 6-4 defeat to the Marlins.

Fantasy Impact:

Despite reaching base three times thanks to a pair of walks, Lindor's contributions couldn't steer the Mets to a win. His performance this season has been fairly solid, maintaining a .254 batting average with some power and speed, evidenced by his 17 homers and 19 steals. However, his wOBA at .339 suggests he's been quite effective overall, though his BABIP at .271 might indicate some bad luck on balls in play. Fantasy managers should continue to value Lindor for his combination of power, speed, and run production, especially in formats that reward walks and on-base percentage.
