Matt Chapman went 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored in the Giants' 7-3 defeat to the Rockies.
Fantasy Impact:
Despite his efforts, which included drawing a walk, Chapman's performance couldn't turn the tide for San Francisco. His season batting average remains modest at .235, and while his 25 doubles and 13 homers show some power, the overall production hasn't been stellar. Fantasy managers should view Chapman as a situational play, depending on matchups, rather than a must-start. His ability to contribute in multiple categories is there, but the inconsistency in his batting average and RBI production could be a concern in shallower fantasy formats.
