The Rays have selected the contract of Tyler Zuber and optioned him to Triple-A Durham. (Rays Communications on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The move was made to avoid an opt-out clause in Zuber’s contract. The 29-year-old will remain a depth option for the Rays after posting a 2.49 ERA and a 1.02 WHIP in 18 games with Durham.
