Syndergaard recently made it known that he plans to revamp things and lose some weight in order to attempt a comeback in 2025. The veteran righty reportedly had some interest from the Padres and Pirates this past offseason, but he ended up not signing with any MLB team. Syndergaard logged 134 2/3 innings, posting a respectable 3.94 ERA back in 2022. However, he struggled to a 6.50 ERA over 18 starts between the Dodgers and Guardians last year.
