Slade Cecconi Struggles, D-backs Still Triumph

Slade Cecconi had a rocky outing, allowing three earned runs on four hits and two walks while striking out three over four innings in Wednesday's 7-5 win over the Braves.
Fantasy Impact:
Despite the D-backs pulling off a victory, Cecconi's performance did little to reassure fantasy managers. His ERA for the season now sits uncomfortably high at 6.14, compounded by a middling WHIP of 1.32. While his strikeout numbers aren't abysmal, they're not enough to offset the damage from his frequent runs allowed. Cecconi's role in fantasy rosters should be considered precarious at best, suitable only for the deepest of leagues or as a speculative play in favorable matchups.
