Foley Secures Save in Tight Tigers Victory

Jason Foley locked down his 16th save of the season as the Tigers edged the Guardians 5-4 on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact:
He threw 12 pitches in a clean outing, allowing no hits, walks, or runs, and did not record a strikeout. Despite a less-than-stellar K/9 rate and a FIP that suggests some underlying concerns, Foley's ability to convert save opportunities, now 15 out of 17, keeps him relevant in fantasy leagues that value saves. His WHIP and ERA are decent enough to not be a liability, making him a solid, if not spectacular, option for those in need of saves without expecting many strikeouts.
