The Rockies have activated Jake Bird (groin) from the IL and optioned him to Triple-A Albuquerque. (Rockies Club Information on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Bird will head to the minor leagues after being out of action with a groin injury since late June. He will remain a depth option should the Rockies need a fresh arm in their bullpen.
