Yency Almonte (shoulder) has been shut down from throwing after getting a second opinion on his shoulder strain. (Meghan Montemurro on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Almonte will now have to decide if he will undergo surgery on continue to rehab and attempt to return. If he opts for surgery, he would likely be out for the remainder of the season.
