Ian Happ powers Cubs past Brewers with key homer

by Chris Schommer | Cubs Correspondent | Sun, Jun 30th 7:08am EDT

Ian Happ made his presence felt in the Cubs' 5-3 victory over the Brewers, delivering when it counted.

Fantasy Impact:

He went 1-for-2 with a home run, two runs scored, two RBI, and also drew two walks. This performance is a bright spot in what has been a challenging season for Happ, who is hitting just .231 through 78 games. His ability to take walks and contribute power (11 homers now) keeps him relevant in fantasy formats, especially those that value on-base percentage. However, his high strikeout rate and low batting average limit his appeal primarily to deeper leagues or as a situational player against favorable pitching matchups.
