Matt Olson went 2-for-4 with an RBI as the Braves topped the Pirates 6-1.
Fantasy Impact:
Despite not contributing extra-base hits or scoring runs, Olson's pair of singles helped maintain his batting average, which has been a concern this season. With a season batting average lingering around .244 and a wOBA of .325, Olson's performance has been underwhelming compared to expectations. His power numbers are decent, but his high strikeout rate and relatively low walk rate continue to limit his upside in fantasy formats. Moving forward, fantasy managers should keep expectations in check unless Olson can find a way to consistently drive in runs and improve his on-base skills.
