Jose Quintana had a mixed outing in Friday's 7-2 win over the Astros.

Jose Quintana allowed two earned runs on six hits and three walks while striking out seven over four innings. Despite his struggles with control and a high pitch count early in the game, Quintana's performance didn't hurt the Mets thanks to their offensive support. His season-long metrics, including a 4.57 ERA and 1.37 WHIP, continue to paint the picture of a back-end rotation starter whose inconsistency can frustrate fantasy managers.
