Zack Wheeler allowed two earned runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out five over 6.2 innings in Thursday's 7-4 loss to the Marlins.

Despite the loss, Wheeler's season remains impressive with a 2.73 ERA and a 0.98 WHIP through 17 starts. His performance today slightly tarnishes an otherwise stellar season, but it's hardly a cause for panic among fantasy managers. Wheeler's ability to maintain a high strikeout rate (9.5 K/9) and a solid strikeout-to-walk ratio (3.61) continues to make him a valuable asset in fantasy leagues.
