J.P. Arencibia swats monster home run in Rays loss

J.P. Arencibia went 1-for-3, with his lone hit being a solo-homer as the Rays came up short against against the Tigers Monday afternoon by a score of 5-4. (Alejandro Zuniga on MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Arencibia has started four times in the month of September, and has now homered in three of them. With the count 2-0 against Randy Wolf in the fifth inning, Arencibia launched a two-seam fastball to the left-center bleachers for his third longball of the season. The blast was projected by MLB.com's Statcast to have gone 464 feet and off the bat at an absurd 109 mph. So far in 26 at-bats with the Rays, Arencibia has posted a .346/.333/.769 line along with those three bombs and 10 RBI. If you need power, I'm sure he can provide deep-leaguers with some the rest of the way, but he's still prone to the strikeout (9 K's/26 AB's) and typically struggles to bat over the mendoza line.
