Garrett Crochet to have workload limited per manager Pedro Grifol

White Sox manager Pedro Grifol said Tuesday of Crochet that "we're going to start dwindling his workload down a little bit." (NBC Sports Chicago)

It’s not something we’re going to put out and say, ‘Here’s what we’re doing,’ because nothing in this game is black and white," Grifol said. ""He might have five innings where he goes 12 pitches or less and we might let him go six or seven innings, even when we’re trying to minimize his workload. It all depends on what he does." Crochet has pitched over 94 innings this season after throwing 25 innings last season and zero the year prior recovering from Tommy John surgery. His name also remains in the middle of trade rumors, which will be something to monitor.
