Randy Rodriguez's serves as opener in Giants' win

Randy Rodriguez allowed one earned run on one hit and two walks while striking out five over 2.2 innings in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Cubs.
Fantasy Impact:
Despite the Giants securing a comfortable victory, Rodriguez didn't qualify for the win leaving after 53 pitches as the opener. His season ERA now sits at 4.70 with a WHIP of 1.24, which are hardly inspiring numbers for fantasy managers. However, his high strikeout rate of 10.6 K/9 continues to be a silver lining. Fantasy managers should be cautious; while he offers strikeout potential, his inconsistency in other areas could be a liability.
