Shawn Dubin is a candidate to be stretched out and enter the fifth spot in the rotation against the Yankees next weekend, per Astros GM Dana Brown. (Brian McTaggart on Twitter)

The Astros have dealt with multiple injuries to their starting rotation, most recently Jake Bloss with a shoulder injury. The 28-year-old has a 5.48 ERA and a 1.64 WHIP in 13 relief appearances this season.
