Travis d'Arnaud delivers in loss to Yankees

by Chris Schommer | Braves Correspondent | Sun, Jun 23rd 7:35am EDT

Travis d'Arnaud went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI in the Braves' 8-3 loss to the Yankees.

Fantasy Impact:

His performance, highlighted by a solo home run, provided a silver lining in an otherwise disappointing game for Atlanta. Despite the loss, d'Arnaud's ability to contribute power is a positive sign, especially considering his somewhat middling .242 batting average and .330 wOBA over the season. Fantasy managers should note, however, that his limited contributions in runs and stolen bases, combined with a high strikeout rate, may cap his overall upside. Moving forward, d'Arnaud remains a viable option in deeper leagues, particularly for those in need of power from the catcher position.
