Triston McKenzie had a rough outing in Tuesday's 8-5 loss to the Mariners, allowing four earned runs on three hits and four walks over just 2 1/3 innings.

This performance certainly didn't help his already middling season stats, which include a 4.48 ERA and a 1.46 WHIP through 14 starts. McKenzie's inability to strike out a single batter exacerbates concerns about his declining strikeout rate, now at 8.3 K/9, coupled with a concerning 6.02 FIP and a 1.55 strikeout-to-walk ratio. Fantasy managers should be wary of relying too heavily on McKenzie in their rotations, as his inconsistency and poor control could lead to more disappointing outings.
