Alexis Diaz clings to save despite rocky outing

Alexis Diaz allowed one run on one hit and a walk while striking out one to notch the save in Friday's 3-2 victory over the Cubs.
Fantasy Impact:
Diaz's performance was far from pristine, but he managed to secure his 13th save of the season despite a shaky outing. With a ballooning 5.55 ERA and a WHIP of 1.52 over 26 appearances, his reliability as a closer is becoming increasingly questionable. Fantasy managers should be wary; while the save opportunities are there, Diaz's high ERA and WHIP could be a liability. His strikeout rate remains solid, but the lack of control and susceptibility to allowing base runners are red flags that can't be ignored.
