Matt Moore delivered a flawless inning to notch his second save of the season in the Angels' narrow 3-2 victory over the Padres.
Fantasy Impact:
Moore needed just seven pitches to secure the win, allowing no hits, walks, or runs, and striking out none. Despite his clean performance today, Moore's season has been less than stellar, marked by a concerning 5.32 ERA and a WHIP of 1.35. His save today, while efficient, does little to assure fantasy managers given his overall shaky metrics this year, including a high FIP of 5.71 and a modest strikeout rate. While the save might boost his confidence, fantasy managers should remain cautious, as his role in high-leverage situations could be limited unless he shows consistent improvement.
