John Brebbia delivered a flawless inning of relief in the White Sox's 3-1 victory over the Guardians on Saturday.
Fantasy Impact:
He threw 14 pitches, allowing no hits, no walks, and no earned runs while striking out one batter. This performance should offer some reassurance to fantasy managers given Brebbia's somewhat inflated 4.38 ERA and 4.80 FIP this season. His excellent WHIP of 1.05 and high strikeout rate (11.7 K/9) continue to make him a valuable asset in leagues that reward strikeouts and WHIP. However, his role primarily in middle relief limits his opportunities for wins or saves, slightly capping his fantasy value.
