Jake Odorizzi granted release by Rays

Fantasy Impact:
The Rays signed the right-hander to a minor-league pact and sent him to the minors to begin the season. He struggled in a pair of Triple-A starts to begin the season, although he said he has been hampered by a hamstring issue. Odorizzi sat out the 2023 season while recovering from a shoulder injury and last tossed a 4.40 ERA between the Astros and Braves in the 2022 campaign.
