Fantasy Impact:
Nootbaar began the regular season on the IL, but it looks as if he is getting close to joining the Cardinals' lineup. He is expected to take part in a simulated game on Friday and take some swings against Sonny Gray (hamstring) who is also gearing up to join the club. Nootbaar could be back at some point during the Cardinals' homestand that begins on April 4.
