Edwin Arroyo (shoulder) to miss 2024 season

Cincinnati Reds shortstop prospect Edwin Arroyo will miss the entire 2024 season following surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder. (Mark Sheldon on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Arroyo was injured on March 13 while diving back to first base on a pickoff play. The 20-year-old was hitting .353 in 20 plate appearances this spring and spent the bulk of the 2023 season at High-A where he hit .248 with 13 home runs and 28 stolen bases across 119 games.
