Cubs' Jason Motte placed on DL

The Cubs have placed RP Jason Motte on the 15-day disabled list with a strained shoulder. The injury is expected to sideline Motte for three-to-four weeks. (Chicago Tribune)
Fantasy Impact:
Motte hasn't been overly effective this year, but considering the mess that's been the Cubs' bullpen he's proved useful for the team. The veteran posted a 3.91 ERA and 1.22 WHIP with 34 strikeouts over 48.1 innings. He also tallied six saves for Chicago.
