Chris Heston optioned down to Triple-A

San Francisco Giants right-hander Chris Heston was sent down to Triple-A Sacramento to make room for Marlon Byrd on the roster. The veteran outfielder was acquired from the Cincinnati Reds yesterday. (MLB)
Fantasy Impact:
"It gives him a little breather," according to Giants' manager Bruce Bochy regarding Heston. He has thrown the second-most innings of the Giant's pitching staff this season. Heston is expected to come back to the majors on September 1st, but is not worth a fantasy roster spot while he is away.
