The Yankees were one of about 15 clubs to witness a Syndergaard showcase as he looks to bounce back from a rough 2023. The former flame-thrower worked to a 6.50 ERA in 18 starts between the Dodgers and Guardians last season while watching his average four-seam fastball sit at just 92.3 mph, a far cry from his 97.4 mph career average.
