The Braves have not been seen as a major contender for Ohtani so far, but it does seem that they are just as much in the running as the Dodgers, Cubs, or Blue Jays. It is rumored that Ohtani is prioritizing winning sustainably over many years, and the Braves would fit that bill as much as anybody.
