Free agent outfielder Taylor Kohlwey has signed a minor-league deal with the Mets. (Mike Puma on Twitter )

Kohlwey has also received an invite to the Mets’ major league spring training camp. The 29-year-old hit .276 with 12 home runs, 73 RBI, and 15 stolen bases in 124 games with Triple-A El Paso last season.
