The New York Yankees have acquired outfielder Alex Verdugo in a trade with the Boston Red Sox for right-handeres Richard Fitts, Greg Weissert and Nicholas Judice. (Jeff Passan on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Passan added that the acquisition of Alex Verdugo should not take the Yankees out of the Juan Soto sweepstakes. Verdugo slashed .264/.324/.421 last season for Boston, moving from left field to right field. He could move back to left field for the Yankees with Aaron Judge in right field.
