The Kansas City Royals have outrighted outfielder Nate Eaton to Triple-A Omaha. (MLB.com)

Eaton was designated for assignment by the Royals last week and has apparently cleared waivers and has been outrighted off the 40-man roster and assigned to the minors. The 26-year-old struggled mightily in a small sample in 2023, going 4-for-53 (.075) with zero homers and three steals across 56 plate appearances.
